Sapporo Olympics Gold 24-karat gold (24KGP) & silver plated (SP) Cups This is a commemorative set of two metal cups produced for the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics. One cup is gold-plated (marked "24K GP") and the other is silver-toned, both featuring the official emblem of the Sapporo '72 Games—comprising the sun symbol, a snowflake, the Olympic rings, and the text "SAPPORO '72". The set comes in its original wooden presentation box, which bears gold-stamped Japanese characters, the Olympic logo, and an official certification seal from the Japan Sports Promotion Fund Foundation (財団法人スポーツ振興資金財団) with approval number JSF71-5.
