Chinese embroidered silk robe, dating to the late Qing Dynasty / early Republic of China, circa 1880–1910. The robe features a prominent dragon motif surrounded by stylised clouds, waves and auspicious floral elements. The dragon is a traditional symbol of power, protection and cosmic balance, commonly used in ceremonial and high-status garments during the late Qing period.
