Elegant English sauce boat from my grandparents, made of solid sterling silver (925/1000), crafted in London in 1905, as indicated by the full set of clear and legible hallmarks. The piece stands on three scroll feet and features a gracefully curved handle and a shaped pouring lip. The interior is finished in polished silver (not gilded) and remains bright due to limited exposure, while the exterior shows a natural, attractive patina consistent with age. A fine example of late Victorian / early Edwardian English table silver, suitable for collectors or elegant table use. The spot inside is just patina, nothing broken or missing.
