Typology : Rare Cup stone. Material : Flint stone. Cutting : 100 % artefact !!! This cup stone was cut on a flint stone. Its use is enigmatic ! Dating, hominid : This artefact belongs to the Mousterian Culture ( Middle Paleolithic period, circa 300 000 years / 50 000 years ago), and was conceived by Homo Neanderthalensis. Origin : Found in France, Grand Pressigny area. Sizes : 18 cm x 13 cm. Condition :Very well preserved. Beautiful Patina. Acquired in 2015 from Mr. Z. private collector, collected since the 70's. The Seller can prove that the lot was obtained legally , provenance statement seen by Catawiki. Important information. The seller guarantees that he is entitled to ship this lot.
