3D printed in quartz sand, Sandbloom offers an alternative to the conventional vase with a form that allows for multiple floral arrangements. Francesc Gasch’s philosophy has always been about the link between the digital and the handmade. His work is inspired from how something that has been digitally produced can have such an appealing feel of nature. With 3D printing there is the capability to produce infinitely but he enjoys the idea of limiting this and making the pieces more unique and special as a result. Over the past years the studio has been conducting experiments into sand printing and with each product becoming more and more ambitious. Size: 30 cm x 16 cm x 16 cm.
