Seiko - Liner - Manual Winding - 沒有保留價 - Ref. 6220-2990 - 男士 - 1969
This Seiko Liner is a refined hand-wound dress watch from the late 1960s, powered by the slim and highly regarded Seikosha calibre 6220 with 23 jewels.
The Liner series represents Seiko’s pursuit of thin, elegant manual-winding watches during a period when the brand was rapidly advancing its mechanical precision and international reputation. Positioned above basic dress models, the Liner line is appreciated for its balance of refinement, reliability, and understated sophistication.
This example features a silver sunburst dial signed “Seiko Liner”, fitted with slim applied baton indices and sharply faceted hands. The clean layout and restrained detailing reflect the modern and elegant design language that came to define Seiko’s late-1960s dress watches.
The stainless steel case measures approximately 36 mm in diameter and retains well-proportioned, classic lines. The watch is fitted with a newly replaced genuine leather strap.
The case back is engraved “Seiko Skyliner”. During the late 1960s, Seiko used the Liner and Skyliner designations within closely related hand-wound dress watch lines, and such variations are known to exist, particularly in transitional or export-period pieces. The watch is correctly fitted with its original Seikosha calibre 6220 manual-winding movement.
As a vintage timepiece, the watch was running at the time of listing.
Disclaimers:
Running at the time of listing.
As a vintage watch, stable continuous operation, accuracy, and water resistance are not guaranteed.
The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking for safe delivery.
A desirable Seiko Liner from the peak era of Seiko’s hand-wound dress watches, combining elegant design with one of the brand’s finest thin manual movements.
