A plate of dark-colored muscovite over which matte cream-colored siderite crystals are set, which appear as intergrown spherical clusters of really weird-looking tabular-shaped crystals. This piece comes from the classic Portuguese deposit of Panasqueira, a mine developed to exploit a series of tabular veins of Sn–W mineralization that have produced some of the finest sulfide and fluorapatite specimens in the world and definitely from Europe.
