The current print was printed in the Showa period (1926 - 1989). The measurements of the image itself (excluding the margins) are 25.5 x 18.2 cm. Shoda Koho (庄田耕峯, ca. 1871-1946) was a Japanese artist associated with the shin-hanga (“New Prints”) art movement in Japan during the early 20th century. His prints are widely sought after by collectors. The print is in good state. There are three white spots in the sky that are not covered by paint. They might seem like stars, but they are simply printing irregularities. There is a faint wrinkle in the upper right corner, but only visible well in strong lighting. Will be shipped with great care in sturdy packaging to prevent folding.
