Pair of Large Antique Wayang Kulit Shadow Puppets Java, Indonesia, c. 1920 These traditional puppets are handcrafted from buffalo or goat hide, each individually cut and painted by hand. Both figures feature movable arms and display fantastic, time-faded colours, consistent with their age and use.
