花瓶 - 陶瓷 - 日本 - 雕刻花卉纹样 (沒有保留價)

This is an original ceramic flower vase (Hana-ire) by Taizan Tsubota, a Japanese ceramic artist born in Fukui Prefecture. The piece features a compact, rounded form with a calm, earthy presence, enhanced by a rough-textured brown glaze. Subtle carved floral motifs appear on the surface, giving the vase a quiet decorative rhythm without overpowering its minimalist silhouette. The natural firing effects and granular texture reflect the aesthetics of traditional Japanese ceramics, while the small opening makes it ideal not only as a flower vase but also as a sculptural object for display. This work balances functionality and artistic expression, making it suitable for collectors of Japanese studio ceramics as well as for modern interior settings. Based on the artist’s career and stylistic characteristics, this piece is estimated to have been created during the late Showa to early Heisei period (circa 1970s–1990s). Artist Information Taizan Tsubota 坪田泰山 was born in 1932 (Showa 7 / 1932) in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. He has been selected multiple times for major Japanese exhibitions, including the Nichiten Exhibition, and has received awards such as the Mainichi Art Award, along with numerous other honors.
