Mexico City-based product designer Manu Bañó has created a one-of-a-kind lamp using raw metal. Known as the OBJ-01 light, this object is envisioned by manually assembling laser-cut stainless steel, or brass with a rubber hammer and no welding joinery. Bañó, the co-founder of design firm EWE Studio and an Esrawe Studio associate, made this unique lamp during the Coronavirus lockdown. The OBJ-01 light features a compact, geometric form and includes a metal rectangle, a circular screen and a cylinder, which holds an LED light. The central circular screen can be rotated 360 degrees so as to change the direction of the light.
