I offer you here a piece of exclusive antique vessel, a Benjarong vessel from the Rattanakosin Kingdom of Siam period (1782 - 1932).
Benjarong is considered as a refined form of craftsmanship, primarily associated with the royal court, palaces, elite nobility. In the beginning, Benjarong was not intended for the mass market.
Our vessel has the Benjarong decoration, a term that derives from the Sanskrit language and means "5 colors". The sides are decorated with Buddhist Thepphanom images, which are Buddhist celestial beings, half human, half fish. The bowl has a collar of lotus petals and the predominant colour is purple. The interior is glazed with white glaze. Its condition is excellent.
Please look at the edges of the ring on the sole and lid, where you can clearly see how the ceramic was cut with a knife. Also, traces of the wheel may be seen on interior walls. Please look carefully at the old work of the vessel and distinguish it from similar more recent objects. This bowl is authentic, old, gorgeous and precious!
Total height 20 cm, total diameter 17,5 cm, total weight 1,020 kg, it is a big enough bowl .
