Old authentic caftan from the region of Western Bulgaria. Made of velvet and hand-embroidered with gold threads. Overall, it is in very good condition, it has been rubbed in two or three places, as shown in the photos. I am attaching a photo with the dimensions. It corresponds to size L. According to historical data, the caftan originates from Central Asia and the Caucasus. Information shows that some of the first to wear the clothes were the Huns. During the Middle Ages, the garment was widespread in the Balkans, the Polish-Lithuanian Kingdom, the Ottoman Empire and even North Africa. The garment I offer is from around 1960 year.
