We have a wonderful set of five "Joiku" snap glasses designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala, Finland. This design was produced between 1973 and 1991. The glasses feature a minimalistic silhouette with a heavy, solid base. The name “Joiku” is a Finnish word for an ancient chant sung by the Sami people in Lapland. The glasses are in wonderful condition. All five still have the original Iittala “Made in Finland” sticker. No chips, cracks, or breaks. One of the glasses has a small production irregularity. It is not a chip or a crack. This can be seen in the close-up photo. Otherwise, they look fantastic.
