The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron sulfide. It has few crack repairs. Its outline has been excavated to highlight the specimen. You can see a lot of detail preserved in the arms and the body. About restorations: Only two of its "arms" have color enhancement since they were not as well preserved as the other 3 ones. These starfish are typically heavily restored and many times just painted onto the rock. In the case of this specimen its pretty good and full natural and genuine.
