This is a charming set of four Japanese Sōsaku Kokeshi (creative kokeshi dolls), handcrafted from natural wood and delicately hand-painted. Unlike traditional regional kokeshi, sōsaku kokeshi emphasize artistic freedom and individual expression, and this set beautifully reflects that spirit. The set consists of two small, round-bodied figures wearing straw hats, decorated with seasonal floral and plant motifs, and two taller standing figures with elegant, minimalist forms.
