I am offering in this auction a tube radio from the early 1950s, one of the rare models by Lorenz Goldsuper W45 3D, made in Germany. The unit is in relatively good external condition, with some drying/cracks in the wood in several places (please refer carefully to the attached photos). The device has been tested, and these are my observations: On the FM band, it is working, with moderate reception strength. When the power plug is connected to electricity, the dial scale light turns on even when the radio is switched off. The magic eye tube lights up, but very dimly. The tuning needle sometimes sticks on the medium, long, and short wave bands, but then resumes movement. The power cable has been replaced for safety reasons. I have removed the rear cover and photographed the interior of the device to show its original condition, which can be seen in the attached photos. The radio comes with the original warranty card (of course, expired) from Lorenz.
