Authentic Tikar bronze ceremonial dagger from the Grassfields region of Cameroon. This heavy dagger, cast using the lost‑wax technique, features a richly decorated bronze handle and scabbard combined with a hand‑forged, engraved iron blade. Prestige weapons of this kind were used by Tikar chiefs and nobles as symbols of status, lineage, and ritual authority, rather than as combat tools. The dagger displays classic Tikar motifs, including concentric arcs, zig‑zag bands, dotted lines, and relief knobs, all characteristic of Tikar bronze work.
