A rare and highly decorative Hindeloopen miniature model in the form of a traditional kakstoel (child’s potty chair), executed as a pronkmodel (display/sample piece) and richly hand painted in classic Hindeloopen style. This is not a functional chair, but a 19th-century display and demonstration model. With a height of approx. 47 cm, it is too small for practical use and too large for a doll’s house — exactly the size in which these models were made as examples of craftsmanship, painter’s practice pieces, or decorative show objects.
