Rodolphe Cattin was a young and talented artist back in 1984, when he met CEO of Longines, Walter Von Kaenel. He used the chance its been given and created his desings for fantastic watch cases. When the collection was ready, it was presented in a global seminar by Longines that brought together the brand’s international representatives in Hong Kong. The response was enthusiastic and when it came to naming this new collection, everyone insisted on “Rodolphe by Longines ”. Launched immediately, this adventure would last eight years, with approximately 60,000 watches sold per year. Here is a nice example of one of his works, in good condition. ● Movement Condition - Minute hand moves once every 20 seconds, that an interesting detail of its movement. Movement is clean, works and keeps time ● Dial Condition - Dial has few wear of time ● Case Condition - Gold plated case and steel case back. Good condition. Most of the plate is there. Crown lost some of its plate.
