He married the daughter of Saito Hideshichi of Tsuchiyu Onsen and was adopted into the Saito family. Kanno Kunio was his nephew. From 1971, he studied woodturning under Sato Sashima and also produced kokeshi dolls. He passed away on February 18, 2010, at the age of 94. Set of 2 29-30cm Total 1073g (G1946)
