Trader Mickey (Mickey Mouse) Native Chief Original Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932) + CERTIFICATE
A rare original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of the Cannibal Chief, from the David Hand-directed short released on 8/10/32. The chief is reading the at-the-time popular joke magazine Ballyhoo; this can be seen at the 1:31 mark. This Mickey and Pluto short featured the cannibals and Mickey playing musical instruments to the "Darktown Strutters Ball" song. Great graphite images of 3" and 5". Minor handling and edge wear. Fine condition.
The paper used by Disney studios in the 1920s-1930s contains a distinctive watermark, visible in one of the photos, which further attests to its authenticity.
