Very Old Antique Black wooden yoroi’bitsu 鎧櫃 (armour storage box) – also known as gusoku’bitsu 具足櫃, fitted with iron ‘pole carrying’-handles. The box is from wood with paper covered with Gold Family Armor.
Period: Japan – Edo period
Approx. dimensions:
Height 51,8cm by 39,7 by 39,7cm wide
It is in a fair restored condition paper is bit loose on the sides. It has some paint losses, decay traces of wear, the bottom is restored and reinforced. Its is in fair condition to store your armory. Please see fotos for condition.
