The resulting morphology is neither imitation nor symbol of nature. Rather, it is an “error element” — a material presence that arises only through the intersection of nature and human intervention. Focusing on tubular formations observed in stalactites and pipe-like minerals, the artist attempts their reproduction and development within the artificial environment unique to ceramics — one characterized by low pressure and high temperature, distinct from conditions inside the Earth. Through this process, he seeks the birth of a “phenomenon different from that of the Earth.” This work visualizes material phenomena that exist outside established systems, generated at the moment when human intentionality intervenes in natural processes.
