→thin teeth 2 >>> 3.7 cm long x 1.5 cm wide at the widest point
Here we present a pair of very nice teeth of the iconic Spinosaurus from lower Cretaceous around ~95 Million years ago. Both toot are in the natural state.
The top of the bigger teeth in particular shows feeding and usage signs as enamel is bit worn off. There is nice red shade in both the tooth probably due to presence iron compounds during fossilization process.
Usually the big and thick teeth of the Spinosaurus are towards the front and in the pre-maxilla region of the mouth while the teeth in the back are thinner and smaller compared to the front teeth. These two teeth serve as excellent specimen for thicker and thinner teeth of same length.
Most of the enamel of the teeth is present with the underside of the root is nicely fossilized with sand particles visible giving it cool looks. In certain places the inside of teeth is revealed with enamel worn off giving a glimpse into inside and other layers of the teeth.
Overall its a cool pair of Spinosaurus teeth and is in natural state. The photo of one teeth leaning on the other gives it nice aesthetic looks. Both the teeth are structurally stable despite natural cracks and fault lines as Spinosaurus teeth are usually hard and many of them do have cracks and fault lines.
Detailed photos have been provided for reference.
