A finely carved celadon-white hardstone pendant dating to the 19th–20th century. One side features delicate openwork carving of a plum blossom branch with a monkey reclining upon it, the monkey’s facial expression rendered vividly and full of character. The reverse is carved with bamboo, symbolizing resilience and integrity.
At the top is set a small tourmaline stone encircled by tiny red stones, adding a subtle decorative accent to the piece.
