The body is delicately enameled in famille verte colors — including shades of green, pink, iron-red, and aubergine — and decorated with lively scenes of children at play in a garden setting. The figures are shown carrying banners and small gongs, surrounded by stylized foliage and landscape elements. Similar figural decoration continues onto the lid.
