A nice collection of old and well-worn bronze pendants from Burkina Faso. These pendants (one of them is made of lead) were worn around the neck and have a protective quality. The largest pendant has the shape of a catfish and is 10 cm long and 2 cm high. The square pendant , decorated with spirals, is 8,5 x 6 cm long. The smaller pendant with the two snakeheads ( typical Lobi manifestations) is made of lead and is 4,5 x 3 cm in dim. Finally the pointed bronze pin-pendant is 6 cm long and had a beautiful patin. All items were collected in Burkina Faso in the late 1990's.
