This object was found a few years ago by me with my metal detector on my private property in the countryside near sainte-marie-du-mont in normandy along with other objects belonging to an american paratrooper of the 101st.easy co. who landed in this area during d-day- US Paras had been landing in and around the village of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont since the early hours of 6 June.
