A beautiful vintage Japanese bamboo basket once used as a traditional household storage container.

Hand-woven with natural bamboo strips, this piece reflects the warmth and practicality of old Japanese rural life. The cylindrical body stands on a wooden cross base, providing stability and elevating the basket from the ground — a functional detail often seen in traditional Japanese folk tools.

The lid is tightly woven in a herringbone pattern and secured with a wooden crossbar and cord, adding both structural strength and aesthetic charm.
