original pair of vintage Greek retail advertising panels dating from approximately the 1980s–1990s.

The panels read:

“Παιδικά Παπακώστας” (Children’s Papakostas)


These were designed as backlit shop display panels, intended to be installed in front of fluorescent or internal lighting systems. The material is rigid translucent plastic, allowing light to pass through and illuminate the lettering.

Each panel features bold graphic typography typical of late 20th century commercial signage. One panel includes decorative illustrated characters at the bottom.
