A large abstract composition in mixed media by well known Dutch artist Kees Salentijn. The work is hand signed and framed. Kees Salentijn (Amsterdam, 1947) is a well known Dutch painter, collagist and draughtsman. Salentijn was trained at the Art Academy of Amsterdam and at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Hij lives and works in the Netherlands, and part time in Spain. Salentijn focusses in his work on spontaneous subconscious creation and feels a kinship with Cobra and related movements. Another influence is the celebration of Spanish culture.
