Antique stereoscope “The Perfecscope”, early 20th century (circa 1900–1915), manufactured in the United States. Metal and wood viewer with original stamps and patent dates (1895–1902). The set comes with a large collection of original stereoscopic photographs (approximately 60 cards) stored in their original sliding boxes. The cards depict historical scenes from Europe and worldwide locations: cities, monuments, landscapes and everyday life. These were used as 3D educational and entertainment images during the Edwardian era. A typical home entertainment object from the period before cinema and television.
