ENGL E650 Ritchie Blackmore Signature Head – 100W Tube Amp The ENGL E650 Ritchie Blackmore Signature Head is the signature model of legendary British guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, known from iconic bands like Deep Purple and Rainbow. This 100-watt tube guitar amp head combines simple operation with a versatile sound. It features four channels, allowing you to go from crystal-clear cleans to the well-known ENGL high-gain distortion. Several functions can be controlled via optional footswitches, giving you maximum control on stage. As expected, the ENGL Ritchie Blackmore Signature also includes a serial/parallel FX loop. The Sound of the ENGL Ritchie Blackmore Signature The E650 essentially has two main channels, which can be expanded using the Gain Lo/Hi switch: • Clean → Crunch (with Hi gain) • Lead → Heavy Lead (with Hi gain) Additional tone-shaping features include: • Bright switch for extra clarity • Contour function for mid shaping Both the Clean and Lead channels have: • Separate volume controls • A shared 3-band EQ The Lead channel also includes a Presence control for high-end definition.
