Type: Scalloped edge plate. ​Period/Style: Transitional period, late Ming – early Kangxi. ​Decor: Central medallion with longevity symbol (Shou), surrounded by a single flying Phoenix (Fenghuang) and scrolling peony motif. ​Technique: Hand-painted underglaze cobalt with visible pigment oxidation / see on last photos / ​Marking: Reverse with an apocryphal Xuande reign mark within a double blue circle.​ ​Condition: Intact, small chips and cracks on the rim; authentic patina on the unglazed footring, small manufacturing defects / see on photos /
