Medieval, Crusaders Era Bronze Half part of Encolpion with the Crucifixion. Corpus Christi with long Tunic & Table above- [INRI] [Jesus Christ King of Jews] *(worn and not readable is the inscription on the table but according to the bible above the head of the Jesus on the cross ironically was written Jesus Christ King of Jews! Very interesting style of Jesus displayed with a long tunic instead of perizonium around his waist, his head slightly inclined down. Only the half part of the reliquary cross but very well preserved with visible embossed image and a pleasant green, glossy patina. Rare. Length: 4,5 cm Width: 2,6 cm.
