Vintage Industrial Bauhaus Hospital Bedside Cabinet / Medical Nightstand (c. 1950s–60s)

Authentic all original parts mid-century hospital bedside cabinet (also known as a bedside locker), made from painted/enameled steel and designed for heavy everyday use in clinics and wards. A great piece of functionalist industrial design, simple, practical lines, tubular side supports, and a compact footprint that works perfectly next to a bed or sofa.

Textured green glass top (sanitary and hard-wearing, with a great subtle pattern)

Material / construction:

Solid metal body with folded edges and utilitarian construction typical of European institutional furniture. The glass top sits neatly in its metal frame.

Colour & patina:
Beautiful original “hospital green” paint with honest wear throughout but cleaned and slightly brushed, chipped edges, rubbed corners, scuffs, and age marks that give it real character. This is genuine timeworn patina (not artificially distressed) and looks amazing in industrial / loft/wabi-sabi / rustic interiors.

Condition:
