A very fine Danish silver scent bottle also known in Denmark as a Hovedvandsæg (translates to head water egg) The heart shaped body with pin pricked ornamentation and embellished with a royal crown finial The interior decorated in vermeil Late 18th to early 19th century Double struck with makers mark on top of the foot (difficult to read) Acid tested for silver No shipping to the United States Condition - Generally very good with marks and wear commensurate with age.
