Set of 2 geometric stained glass windows – Netherlands ca. 1920–1930 – in wooden frames – warm amber tones Decorative set of two stained glass windows featuring a geometric diamond and star pattern. The panels display warm colors such as amber, honey yellow, soft purple and orange, typical of Dutch houses from the interwar period (circa 1920–1930). The glass consists of various types of cathedral glass and textured glass, beautifully filtering the light. When sunlight passes through the glass, it creates a warm and atmospheric glow. The windows are still mounted in their original wooden frames with hinges, suggesting they were originally used as small ventilation windows or sidelights next to a front door, hallway window, or toilet window. A plexiglass panel has been added to the back for protection of the stained glass. The windows were acquired in Driehuis (The Netherlands) and previously belonged to the collection of a stained glass hobbyist. A charming decorative object suitable for interior decoration, restoration projects, or for hanging in front of a window as a light-catching feature. Condition Good used condition consistent with age. Minor paint wear on the wooden frames.
