索尼 MDS-JB920 QS 是一款大约在 1998 年左右的先进 MiniDisc 记录/播放机，专注于音质。它支持 ATRAC 4.5 压缩、具备数字与模拟输入/输出（光纤、同轴、线路），以及音高/节拍控制、“Time Machine” 录音（可倒退 6 秒）和诸如 A-B 删除、撤销、TOC 编辑与曲目标题等丰富的编辑功能。该机采用铝合金前面板、R-core 电源变压器，并按照“Wide Bit Stream” 技术设计，以尽量降低失真、自然重现高频成分。
