Talisker The House of Greyjoy This single malt is produced on the coast of the Isle of Skye, one of the most remote and rugged parts of Scotland. The multi-layered flavors and typically maritime character of the Talisker Select Reserve can be traced back to the wave-lashed coast. An intense smoky single malt Scotch whiskey with spicy, bold, sweet notes and maritime flavors. Nose: peppery, cigarette smoke, slightly alcoholic, vanilla Taste: alcohol completely disappeared, again a lot of cigarette smoke, chili, quite sweet, ripe cherries, caramel Finish: long, smoky, sweet, very pleasant, slightly salty at the end with hints of heather and crumble on yeast dough, pleasant "mole" on the tongue.
