This "Ultra" pendant designed by Jo Hammerborg for the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup. A classic of Mid-Century Scandinavian design, the lamp features a multi-layered construction. It is composed of six concentric, white lacquered aluminium cylinders that stack toward a central, larger cylindrical band finished in a vibrant lilac/purple. The architectural arrangement of the shades ensures a completely glare-free light distribution, casting a soft glow both upwards and downwards while illuminating the tiers themselves. The original manufacturer's label (FM) is still present on the interior (as seen in photo 05), confirming its provenance. The lacquer remains bright with minimal signs of wear. There is a very slight, barely visible surface mark on the purple band, consistent with age.
