Ancient Roman Lead decorated Mirror Circa 1st-3rd century AD This cast lead hand-mirror is circular with an integral, ribbed handle rising from the rim. The decoration is organised in concentric zones: a raised outer border encloses bands of repeating scroll-and-dot ornament surrounding a central roundel framed by two moulded rings. Small lateral protrusions sit at the base of the handle.
