"Dublé" wall lamp, designed by the Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in 1970. This specific example is in remarkable condition, finished in a mustard yellow lacquer. New with Box!! The main feature of the "Dublé" is its reversible louvre system at the base. The name (meaning "Double") refers to the dual lighting effects possible: one side of the slats is white to reflect a bright, functional light (ideal for reading), while the other side is red to absorb light and create a soft, warm atmospheric glow. This allows the user to change the mood of the room simply by flipping the louvre insert. This item is in pristine vintage condition. It comes complete with its original Fog & Mørup cardboard hang-tag and even the original manufacturer’s box (Model 70 1253). The lacquer is smooth with no visible scratches or chips, and the pull-cord mechanism functions perfectly. It is rare to find 1970s metalwork in such an untouched state.
