Elegant Swedish wall clock in classic Gustavian style, richly decorated with carved floral and scroll motifs and finished in a warm gilded tone. The design is inspired by traditional Swedish 18th-century Gustavian clocks and remains a very popular decorative form in Scandinavian interiors.

The clock is fitted with a mechanical movement by Westerstrand Urfabrik, Töreboda, one of the most respected Swedish clock manufacturers. Westerstrand has been producing clocks since the early 1900s and is well known for reliable mechanical movements used in many Swedish wall and public clocks.

The movement appears clean and well preserved and the clock runs properly, keeping good time. The clock strikes the hours on a bell. As with all mechanical clocks, occasional adjustment or servicing may be required depending on use and environment.

 This is a very decorative piece combining Swedish craftsmanship with a classic Gustavian design, suitable both as a functional wall clock and as an attractive interior decoration.
