The Harmony Collection derives from the fusion of The Macallan's inherent curiosity with its principles of innovation and creativity. The Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner immersed himself in the art of coffee, exploring the process from field to cup and uncovering the distinct flavour profiles at each stage. The second edition in the limited annual release series, this special single malt exudes flavours of ground coffee, hazelnut and vanilla, and provides a delightful whisky and coffee pairing experience. This unique single malt was inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean. Ethiopia is claimed to be the birthplace of coffee as the Arabica bean was the first species of coffee to be cultivated. Exuding notes of ground coffee, hazelnuts, sweet raisin and vanilla, this special whisky will transport you into a world of flavour and texture, awakening all of your senses. The innovative and distinctive packaging has given new life to coffee bean husks, a by-product of coffee production that would otherwise be discarded. The husks were skillfully incorporated to create the presentation box and label, which is made from recycled and repurposed material. Featuring a green pantone, to resemble the colour of the unroasted coffee bean, the Smooth Arabica packaging draws inspiration from its essential ingredient.
