A large collection of 70 glass beads from Ethiopia. Originally produced in Bohemia (Czech Republic) in the 1960-70`s. Exported especially for the Ethiopian market, were they were mostly worn bij different tribes of the southern regions. Also called "cherry beads" because of the dark red colour, although also yellow and orange colours are presented here. Some scratches are visible due to their intense use. Dim. vary between 10-15-18-20-30 mm. Collected in Ethiopia in the late 1990`s.
