A very heavy and imposing antique monastery or gate bell made of solid bronze, dating from the period 2nd half 20th century. This bell is a classic example of the Greek-Orthodox or Ottoman tradition, recognizable by the detailed depiction of a praying angel (Putto) in high relief and the decorative border with rosettes at the bottom.

This particular piece stands out due to its exceptional quality and weight of no less than 3.6 kg. The bell has a beautiful, untouched patina and shows authentic signs of use on the inside where the original bronze clapper hits the wall. The sound is very clear, powerful, and has an extremely long-lasting resonance, characteristic of high-quality bell bronze.
