Pipe Pick, in Dutch “PijpenWroeter” or just “wroeter” was a common tool used to “fluff” the bowl or just to help clean out tobacco and ash. They often came in the form of animals, but ships were also incredibly popular and have become very desirable. Hunting animals, as well as others inspired by military, royal or historical/mythical figures are also popular. Often they were gifted, or custom made around a smokers interest or job. This example is in the form of a pipe smoker and is incredibly rare. It is 115mm long and 12.6g While the makers mark is no longer clearly visable, the silver dating sword puts it to some time in the 1800s.
