A beautiful Art Nouveau jardinière from the late 1800s to early 1900s, made in an elegant design with flowing lines. The piece comes from Sweden and is made of brass with its original oval glass liner. The frame features openwork decoration in a lovely Jugend design, complemented by two high, curved handles and supported on four feet. The glass liner has an engraved sunburst pattern in the center. The inner metal surface shows a silver tone, suggesting it was originally silver-plated. Condition: Overall in very good condition with a rich patina. The glass liner has a few minor chips along the edges, but no cracks or repairs. The piece looks fantastic.
